Here are answers to some common questions

  • Do you have to be a member of the Camping and Caravanning Club to camp?

Yes, you do have to be a member of the camping and caravanning club.  If you are on a THS then you can have a temporary members card from the steward.

  • XL Bully Dogs

I regret to inform you that due to regulations under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, we are unable to accommodate XL Bully Dogs on our premises as they do form part of this act, The guidelines for this are confirmed in the Green Paper 3.18 point 25.

I understand that this may come as disappointing news, and I empathize with the potential inconvenience it may cause. However, we prioritize the well-being and safety of our Members, Employees, and the surrounding community. As an organization, we are committed to fully complying with all applicable regulations and ensuring a secure environment for everyone involved."

  • Vlogger ~ Can you film on-site?

Do they need permission to film on our sites?

Yes. All vloggers are classed as members of the media who all need permission in the first instance from the Club’s PR team and in advance of them arriving at one of our campsites. The reason they need permission is there are legal considerations to take into account.

If filming or photography takes place in a private setting, permission is first needed from the landowner/operator and from the individuals who are being filmed or photographed under privacy laws.

For more information please contact the DA Secretary or see the information document from head office.  Guidance for Vloggers
